Alright, I haven't updated for nearly a year. I'm sorry, I've been busy. Basically, I put together the live band playing out the finest in heavy, heavy and deep, deep funk. It's called Ed Meme & The Forms and it's turning out pretty well. In fact, this site will be disappearing soon to be replaced by Tone Arise Recordings, my new record label. There (here?) you'll be able to preview the new live act and lok at pictures and find out where we're playing and all that shit. Also, there might be new material from Clear at some point, which will also appear.
In the meantime, keep up to date with what's happening, please check the ever-reliable myspace pages:
www.myspace.com/edmemeandtheforms
www.myspace.com/whoisclear
...and to sign up to the mailing list for the band, email theforms@tonearise.co.uk

Christ! is it August already? Scary.
So, a few things have been happening lately - The new live band is nearly ready to be broken out onto the music venues of Brighton. We haven't got a name yet so any suggestions for a deep funk band can be emailed to contact@tonearise.co.uk
Also, I've been working with a hugely talented vocalist by the name of Jen Jarvis. We've just wrapped a new soul track called 'Doubtful Sounds' which can be previewed on my myspace page at www.myspace.com/whoisclear
Also, this track and another should be getting some airtime over in my spiritual home of New Zealand tomorrow. You can actually hear the show via live streaming here: www.radioactive.co.nz . The show is called the Soul Affair and is presented by Paul Ballard. You can also stream Solid Steel, GIlles Peterson and Compost radio shows here, so it's all good music.
Also, Cheers to Mad D at www.straightup.comau for playing my Nostalgia 77/Alice Russell re-rub. Check out the Hood show for that one. Also on the same site, I can recommend the Heavy Mannas show hosted by ex-pat, and legendary ladies man,Paul Gamblin.
As always, to contact Clear, contact clear@tonearise.co.uk

Happy New Year and all that. It's all been a bit good lately with Clear tracks getting air on WUVT radio in the States (download the show here: http://www.boogieburg.com/index.php?PAGE_ID=67 ) and also on Firm FM in Wellington, New Zealand (Thanks Paul).
If you wish to play a Clear track on your Radio Show, please feel free to do so. You'll be in good company these days. ;)
As always, to be put on the mailing list, please email contact@tonearise.co.uk
